Announcements

🦈 A Tribute to Jaws: Our Art at Universal Studios Florida

We’re honored to announce a thrilling milestone for IONOX Media—our work is now on official display inside Universal Studios Florida! On May 15th, Universal opened a limited-time tribute store in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Jaws. The original Jaws ride may have closed in 2012, but this new shop pays homage to the iconic film, the beloved ride, and the legacy of Amity Island.

Inside the store, you’ll find not one but two of our art pieces: a 6-foot-long Amity Boat Tours sign, proudly displayed above a photo op featuring set pieces from the original ride, and an enlarged, rethemed version of our Jaws Ride Map hanging within the shop itself.

The store is located in Universal’s San Francisco area, right next to where Bruce the shark still hangs in his gallows. But beware—the store is only open for a limited time before it slips beneath the waves once more. If you’re a fan of Jaws, don’t miss this chance to see our work in the heart of Universal’s history!

🧭 Cross-Country Conquests

We roared back into Orlando on Tuesday, May 20th—road-weary but triumphant—after a straight-through haul from Philadelphia. The City of Brotherly Love did not disappoint. It was an honor to see so many familiar faces, and to welcome new ones drawn in by the latest treasure we unveiled: a fresh art piece inspired by the internet sensation Game Changer.

The piece did exactly what we hoped—ignited conversation, sparked memories, and brought together fans of the show like an impromptu campfire gathering. We shared laughs about favorite episodes, swapped stories, and grinned ear to ear watching it all unfold.

And the food? Let’s just say, no quest to Philly is complete without paying tribute to the culinary gods: a pilgrimage through Reading Terminal Market, a feast at Scannicchio’s, and a proper cheesesteak from Jim’s on South Street. No other city satisfies quite like Philly—believe that.

⚙️ Workshop Woes and Recovery

Every saga has its cursed relics—and ours was the OMTech laser. We thought we’d tamed it in April, but the beast struck back in May, burning out three bulbs in a row. The air assist lines were no friendlier, spitting water where there should’ve been air.

By May 10th, after countless hours of tinkering and a few choice words not fit for print, we cracked the code: two new air pumps, a fresh compressor, upgraded tubing, and a completely overhauled system. Each laser now runs on its own circuit, like a twin-engine beast, roaring back to life. For now, the shop hums with creative fire once again—but we keep our eyes sharp for the next challenge lurking in the shadows.

🗺️ Next Live Expedition: Spooky Empire

Our next stop on the trail leads us home to Orlando for Spooky Empire, the horror fan’s playground, at the DoubleTree near SeaWorld. This show is a scream every spring, and you can bet we’ll have some brand-new pieces to reveal. Keep an eye out—we love a good sneak peek, and you’ll want to be the first to see what’s next.

Come find us, say hello, and see what’s lurking in the vault this time!

🔧 Secrets in the Design Vault

The vault doors creak open, and the treasures inside are almost ready to see the light of day. The E.T. Adventure map is nearly finished and will debut at Spooky Empire before making its way online. We’re also putting the final touches on a Phantom of the Opera tribute—the marquee sign for the Opera Populaire—a piece worthy of the stage.

And for the monster lovers out there—good news: the Monster Tikis are back! With the dark clouds of Epic Universe brewing on the horizon and a new wave of love for the Universal Monsters, we’re bringing these classic designs out of retirement. They’re reimagined with practical sizing and bold, vivid colors. Catch them at Spooky Empire before they vanish once more.

🖤 To Our Fellow Travelers

To all the adventurers, wanderers, and kindred spirits who’ve joined us on this journey—thank you. Whether you’ve discovered us at a show, online, or by happy accident, we’re grateful for you.

Want to dive deeper into the story behind the art? Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more about the heart of IONOX Media: how we got started, what these art pieces mean to us, and the personal stories behind them.

And if you’re feeling bold—join our storytelling competition! For the next three weeks, we invite you to write a short, dramatized post about how your map or sign helped you uncover a hidden treasure, or how you stumbled upon it in some daring adventure. Two winners will emerge: one selected as the most creative, and one selected as most viewed. Both will receive a special prize.

Stay curious, stay daring, and we’ll see you down the road.

ABOUT IONOX

Maps and Signs From The Worlds Of Your Imagination.

In the heart of Orlando, IONOX Media began as the passion project of a single dreamer, crafting artifacts inspired by beloved fandoms and pop culture legends. What started as a simple hobby in a humble home workshop found its footing during the pandemic shutdown of 2020, blossoming into a thriving creative force.

Each piece we design and craft is a tribute to the stories and characters that ignite our imaginations, blending materials like layered wood, resin, leather, and canvas to bring these creations to life. Our journey has taken us across the nation, from comic conventions to art festivals and gallery showings, and our work has been featured in publications and proudly displayed in public spaces.

Now partnered with amazing people, IONOX Media continues to grow, inviting adventurers, explorers, and thrill-seekers to join us in celebrating the worlds of their imaginations. Thank you for being part of this creative odyssey—your support fuels our passion and helps us craft unique pieces that resonate with fans and collectors everywhere.
