Announcements

🦈 A Tribute to Jaws: Our Art at Universal Studios Florida

We’re honored to announce a thrilling milestone for IONOX Media—our work is now on official display inside Universal Studios Florida! On May 15th, Universal opened a limited-time tribute store in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Jaws. The original Jaws ride may have closed in 2012, but this new shop pays homage to the iconic film, the beloved ride, and the legacy of Amity Island.

Inside the store, you’ll find not one but two of our art pieces: a 6-foot-long Amity Boat Tours sign, proudly displayed above a photo op featuring set pieces from the original ride, and an enlarged, rethemed version of our Jaws Ride Map hanging within the shop itself.

The store is located in Universal’s San Francisco area, right next to where Bruce the shark still hangs in his gallows. But beware—the store is only open for a limited time before it slips beneath the waves once more. If you’re a fan of Jaws, don’t miss this chance to see our work in the heart of Universal’s history!

⚙️ Forging Ahead: Order Catch-Up Underway
After months of battling machine mishaps, supply delays, and a workshop that sometimes felt more like a war zone than an art studio, we’ve finally hit our stride. The lasers are running smoothly (knock on wood), the shop is stocked with fresh materials, and our hands have been hard at work day and night.

We’re also excited to share that we’ve brought a new team member on board—Karen—who has already made a huge impact. With her help, we’ve doubled our production output. Just this week, over 40 orders have gone out the door!

We’ve made serious headway on our backlog—especially custom pieces and convention pickups that have been waiting far too long. We know the delays were frustrating, and we can’t thank you enough for your patience. Every single piece matters to us, and we’re making sure each one goes out with the attention and care it deserves.

If you’re still waiting on something, hang tight—we’re moving through the list as quickly and carefully as possible. And if you’ve already received your order, we’d love to see where it ended up! Tag us in a photo and let us know where your IONOX piece now calls home.

🗺️ Next Level Expedition: Spooky Empire Success
We premiered three brand-new art pieces at Spooky Empire:

  • The E.T. Adventure Ride Map – the long-awaited ride schematic brought to life in rich detail.

  • The Opera Populaire Sign – our tribute to The Phantom of the Opera, worthy of the grandest stage.

  • SPACEBALLS: The Art Piece – yes, it’s real, and yes, it’s as ridiculous as it sounds.

And that’s not all—we had also resurrected three fan-favorite Monster Tikis from the vault:

  • Frankenstein’s Monster

  • The Bride of Frankenstein

  • Dracula

The guests at Spooky Empire may have been the first to see the new additions to the store, but they are now available in our etsy shop!

🖤 To Our Fellow Travelers

To all the adventurers, wanderers, and kindred spirits who’ve joined us on this journey—thank you. Whether you’ve discovered us at a show, online, or by happy accident, we’re grateful for you.

Want to dive deeper into the story behind the art? Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more about the heart of IONOX Media: how we got started, what these art pieces mean to us, and the personal stories behind them.

And if you’re feeling bold—join our storytelling competition! For the next three weeks, we invite you to write a short, dramatized post about how your map or sign helped you uncover a hidden treasure, or how you stumbled upon it in some daring adventure. Two winners will emerge: one selected as the most creative, and one selected as most viewed. Both will receive a special prize.

Stay curious, stay daring, and we’ll see you down the road.

ABOUT IONOX

Maps and Signs From The Worlds Of Your Imagination.

In the heart of Orlando, IONOX Media began as the passion project of a single dreamer, crafting artifacts inspired by beloved fandoms and pop culture legends. What started as a simple hobby in a humble home workshop found its footing during the pandemic shutdown of 2020, blossoming into a thriving creative force.

Each piece we design and craft is a tribute to the stories and characters that ignite our imaginations, blending materials like layered wood, resin, leather, and canvas to bring these creations to life. Our journey has taken us across the nation, from comic conventions to art festivals and gallery showings, and our work has been featured in publications and proudly displayed in public spaces.

Now partnered with amazing people, IONOX Media continues to grow, inviting adventurers, explorers, and thrill-seekers to join us in celebrating the worlds of their imaginations. Thank you for being part of this creative odyssey—your support fuels our passion and helps us craft unique pieces that resonate with fans and collectors everywhere.
